Feather

Feather is a sorceress, a young woman promoted to the Circle of Eighteen after the Lady's minions dispose of half the Circle. She is married to Journey, another young sorcerer also promoted to the Circle. Feather and Journey have a short career in the Circle however as the Black Company infiltrates the small town north of Charm where they are honeymooning. Feather and Journey are caught in their bed, captured completely by surprise. Lady then adds both of them to the ranks of the New Taken. They reveal their new allegiance at the Battle of Charm.

Feather is not a terrifying figure on the scale of the Ten Who Were Taken; it's implied that her magic is much less strong. She is however more capable and powerful than her husband. It is Feather who sees the potential for wizarding talent in Lisa Dae Bowalk outside Juniper.

Feather is killed when the denizens of the Black Castle destroy her carpet with sorcery as she flies by.
