The Domination

A period of time when The Dominator, a wizard whose powers gave him godlike status, ruled. The Dominator had learned how to bring other wizards under his control and used it to compel ten great wizards into his service. These were the The Ten Who Were Taken. Also in his service was The Lady; she was technically his wife and partner, less powerful but perhaps a better strategist and administrator.

The Domination lasted for around a century. It was ended approximately 400 years before the company is brought into the service of The Lady by Soulcatcher. The Dominator was brought down by general called The White Rose who was able to defeat him but not destroy him. She bound The Dominator, The Lady, and The Ten Who Were Taken in the Barrowland.

Miscellaneous

Domination officers had a characteristic triangular inset in their foreheads, apparently a gemstone of some kind magically fused into the skull.

The principal language of the Domination was TelleKurre.
