A Nyueng Bao trader. He is much less xenophobic than the rest of his tribe, having apparently loved a Gunni woman in his youth. It is he who helps Sahra and Murgen get together in the face of her family's opposition; later, he helps retrieve Sahra from the Delta and return her to Taglios. He shelters Sleepy and the remnants of the Black Company for years as they work to release the Captured.
